This course is designed for English learners who want to improve their reading, speaking, and critical thinking skills in a small group setting. Participants read short stories and complete both group and individual tasks related to the text. Through guided discussions and language activities, learners expand their vocabulary naturally within the context of the stories. Cherie Fesi Schneider is a Native American English teacher with extensive experience. Since 2007, she has been teaching English to learners of all ages and proficiency levels from diverse nationalities. Having lived and taught in three countries, and traveled widely, Cherie brings a rich cultural perspective to her teaching. She prides herself on creating tailor-made lessons, carefully adapting the curriculum to meet each student’s individual needs. Her specialties include Conversation courses, General and Business English, English for Specific Purposes, Exam Preparation, English for Seniors, Learning through Literature, Current Events, and Cross-Cultural Communication.
